Great Escapes RV Resorts Branson in Missouri is set to reopen this Memorial Day weekend. Following a multi-year expansion and makeover, the former Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park has been transformed into a luxury RV and glamping resort, offering a variety of new attractions and amenities designed for family enjoyment.
Situated on 65 shaded acres, 15 minutes from downtown Branson, the resort offers a quiet retreat from the city. The resort’s updates include a new pool with cabanas where parents can relax as children enjoy the water. Additionally, accommodations have been upgraded, featuring glamping cabins, covered wagons, and a vacation home.
Another aspect of the RV resort is the various activities, including a jumping pillow, a Wibit floating obstacle course, laser tag, and outdoor movies. Themed celebrations like Chocolate Extravaganza and Jurassic Week add to the fun.
General Manager Cindy Logue noted that Great Escapes Branson provides everything families seek in an outdoor vacation. “The focus is on fun and entertainment with all the comforts of home, whether you are staying in your RV or one of our new spacious, fully equipped luxury glamping cabins,” Logue said in a press release.
According to Logue, the entire resort has been updated and refreshed, making it unrecognizable to previous visitors. She mentioned that Great Escapes has been transformed into a luxury resort filled with amenities in a beautiful setting.
The resort also offers spaces for private family events, golf cart rentals, pet-friendly lodging, and a dog park, enhancing its appeal to many visitors. Other amenities are full hookup sites, upgraded Wi-Fi, beach cabanas, a new activities pavilion, and a playground.
The grand reopening weekend, May 24 to May 27, showcases various activities. Guests will enjoy complimentary lifejackets for the Wibit water obstacle course, free hot dogs in the café, and live entertainment from Thunder Creek Symphony and the Clydesdales Experience.
The enhancements at Great Escapes RV Resorts Branson demonstrate the significance of investing in diverse and modern lodging options to appeal to a broader audience. Introducing glamping cabins, covered wagons, and vacation homes can attract different types of guests, from traditional campers to those seeking more comfort and unique experiences. For future developments, these improvements will make the campground or RV park a more attractive destination, encouraging longer stays and repeat visits.
