AGS Releases 2026 Missouri Camping, Glamping and Travel Guide

The AGS Hospitality Marketing Company has released its 2026 Camping, Glamping and Travel Guide to Missouri, a free print and digital publication designed to promote private campgrounds, glamping destinations and travel attractions across the state.

The 32-page guide is available in print and digitally through MoCampingGlampingTravel.com and will be distributed statewide and nationally, according to AGS President and CEO Brian Schaeffer.

“We have printed 40,000 copies of the guide, which we plan to distribute widely in Missouri and across the country,” Schaeffer said in a press release.

AGS produces print and digital camping and travel guides for private parks and state associations nationwide.

The Missouri guide recently received an Andies Award from Anderson’s Brochure Distribution Service during the Campground Owners Expo in Branson, where it was recognized as one of the top state campground publications in the country.

The publication includes a welcome message from Stephen Foutes, director of tourism for the state of Missouri, and features listings for nearly 300 Missouri campgrounds.

In addition to campground listings, the guide highlights major travel and tourism attractions across the state, positioning camping and glamping as gateways to broader visitor experiences.

Featured destinations include the city of Branson, Ozark-area attractions such as Mark Twain National Forest, and St. Louis, home to the Gateway Arch.

The Gateway Arch, a central feature of Missouri’s tourism landscape, stands 630 feet above the Mississippi River and is included among the guide’s flagship attractions.

Historical and cultural destinations are also highlighted, including the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City and the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum in Independence.

Schaeffer said Anderson’s Brochure Distribution Service will distribute the guide at consumer trade shows across the country during the winter and spring travel season.

In addition, the Missouri tourism department will distribute copies at Missouri welcome centers, expanding the guide’s reach to in-state and out-of-state travelers.

New for 2026, AGS will also place copies of the guide at Route 66 travel centers, targeting travelers along one of the country’s most recognizable tourism corridors.
