A luxury RV park and water resort is set to open near Oxford, Mississippi, aiming to provide a blend of recreation, relaxation, and community for families and travelers of all ages.
Roundabout Oxford spans 45 acres and is located three miles west of Oxford along Highway 6. The resort will feature 150 RV sites and 20 luxury cottages, positioning itself as a high-end destination.
Designed with a range of activities in mind, the resort will include a water park with a splash pad for children, a hot tub, and an adults-only pool. A 1,000-foot “Swayze River” will offer guests a leisurely float, complete with a swim-up bar.
Sporting amenities will include cornhole, GaGa Ball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, tetherball, and pickleball courts. A custom-designed 18-hole mini golf course and an old-school arcade room are also featured to appeal to both children and adults.
Additional amenities include electric bike and golf cart rentals, walking trails, a sensory path tailored for children on the autism spectrum, a yoga deck, and group bonfire areas.
According to an article published by AOL, Founders Drs. Alison and Andrew Ross, along with Cris and Jay Hughes, described the resort as a “dream project” with the goal of creating “a resort that felt like an oasis, catering to families of all ages and offering a sense of community.
The property also aims to connect with local culture by offering Oxford-inspired food and drink, including chicken on a stick and beverages served in miniature red telephone booths modeled after those on Oxford’s historic square.
