Dewlicious Farms to Celebrate Grand Opening with Ribbon-Cutting in Manistee

Dewlicious Farms, a newly launched agritourism venture in Manistee, Michigan, is set to mark its official opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 20.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. and is being held in partnership with the Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce.

Located at 3598 River Road, the site combines a working farm with glamping accommodations, aiming to attract visitors seeking a blend of rural experience and outdoor leisure.

Founded by Scott and Nicole Dewey, Dewlicious Farms offers a range of agricultural and recreational experiences, according to Midland Daily News

The couple brings over ten years of homesteading knowledge to the project, having previously operated a small-scale glamping business.

Their new endeavor expands that model to include a broader scope of farm-based offerings, including fruit orchards, vegetable gardens, herb beds, and flower fields.

“Glamping,” a term that merges “glamour” with “camping,” has grown in popularity among travelers who want a more comfortable alternative to traditional camping without sacrificing time in nature.

Dewlicious Farms appears to be targeting this niche by offering lodging designed for families and individuals interested in reconnecting with the land in a more immersive way.

The business also highlights community engagement and experiential tourism.

According to the farm’s website, “At Dewlicious Farms, we grow the dewiest, tastiest fruit around – and we’ve built a one-of-a-kind place for kindred spirits to stay, play and reconnect with the land. Whether you’re here to pick a peach, glamp under the stars, or just feel the grass beneath your feet – we’re so glad you found us.”

For owners and operators in the outdoor hospitality sector, Dewlicious Farms demonstrates a model of diversification that aligns with current consumer interest in farm stays and eco-tourism.

Offering both agricultural products and unique accommodations, the venture taps into dual revenue streams while appealing to a growing market of travelers who seek nature-based experiences.

For others considering a similar path, the Deweys’ transition from small-scale glamping to an integrated farm-stay business may offer insights into scaling sustainably while maintaining a strong brand identity rooted in land stewardship and guest experience.
