Dancing Fire Glamping & RV Resort held its grand opening celebration with a community showcase highlighting the property’s wide range of glamping accommodations and outdoor amenities.
Located in Michigan’s Blue Water Area, the resort invited guests to explore its offerings through guided tours and interactive experiences designed to introduce the public to the region’s newest luxury outdoor destination.
The event marked a significant milestone for the resort, which seeks to redefine glamping and RV travel with themed lodging and modern facilities.
“We are thrilled to welcome the community into our Glamping & RV Resort,” organizers stated in a Facebook post.

Guests were encouraged to discover various lodging areas throughout the resort. Vintage Lane featured a row of restored Airstream trailers. Visitors also stepped into the Safari Camp, inspired by African excursions that blend natural surroundings with upscale interiors.
The Zen Retreat offered guests a chance to view treehouse-style A-frame and A-pod cabins set along a wooded creek, designed for quiet reflection and immersive nature experiences. “Delight your inner child by exploring our Zen Retreat,” the resort indicates.
One of the more unique accommodations featured during the celebration was Big Blue, a converted school bus located in the resort’s Bus Stop area.

The resort also showcases a welcome center, which includes a pool, hot tub, yoga and wellness studio, and a poolside pavilion built for community gatherings and entertainment.
Family-friendly activities were also featured, including access to a dog park, playground, shuffleboard court, horseshoe pits, and a pickleball court.
Additional amenities include a picnic pavilion and a community building with laundry facilities.
To enhance the outdoor experience, the resort provides games like cornhole, ladder golf, and giant Connect Four, along with rentals for bicycles, e-bikes, and golf carts.

According to its website, Dancing Fire Glamping and RV Resort, formerly known as Port Huron Township Campground, underwent a major transformation following the 2023 camping season and officially reopened in spring 2024.
Looking ahead, the resort plans to introduce more features throughout the 2025 camping season, including EV charging stations to accommodate guests traveling with electric vehicles.
Management has expressed appreciation for the community’s continued support and patience during this period of ongoing development, noting that the phased rollout of amenities will further elevate the resort’s offerings for campers and glampers alike.
