Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Cranberry Acres in Carver is gearing up for summer after a major expansion that took two years to complete. This season, the park will introduce new amenities, including a new water park and luxurious cabins.
Located an hour south of Boston, the park, a finalist for the OHI ‘Medium Park of the Year’ award, now boasts a 21,000 square-foot water park, which opened in July 2023. The water park features a multi-level playground, two 165-foot waterslides, a splash pad, a 750-gallon hydrostorm bucket, and an activity pool.
In addition to the water park facilities, the campground has transitioned from an RV-only facility to offering 153 luxurious cabins. Each unit includes a private bathroom, bedroom, full kitchen, and AC/heat.
Guest Stephanie G. shared her experience at the water park. “The water park is awesome. You can spend hours there and have as much fun as the kids. You can still watch your child play from the seats, which is helpful when you run out of steam,” she said, as mentioned in a press release.
The expansion also includes new amenities such as a pizza kitchen, camp store, playground, sports courts, and a gem mining sluice. Additionally, renovated attractions like the mini golf course and arcade are available.
Another aspect of the park is its diverse recreational activities. Guests can enjoy basketball and volleyball courts, a mini golf course, and a gem mining experience. Additional attractions include jumping pillows, beach activities, nature trails, playgrounds, laser tag, and gaga ball.
