Powder Horn Resort Set to Host Harvest Festival Weekend in Old Orchard Beach

Powder Horn Family Camping Resort in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, is set to host its annual Harvest Festival Weekend from October 10 to 13, offering families seasonal programming and new activities.

The four-day event will begin Friday (October 10) with a kickoff movie night at the resort’s Function Hall, where guests can watch Halloweentown at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday (October 11), activities will take place at the campground’s Activities Field from noon to 3 p.m. According to a Facebook post by the resort, the schedule includes pumpkin painting, pony rides, a petting zoo, and live music surrounded by fall foliage.

Campers will also be invited to enjoy campfires in the evening, providing opportunities to gather outdoors during the autumn season.

A new Trunk-or-Treat Festival is planned for Sunday (October 12) from noon to 3 p.m. at the Activities Field. Children and families will be able to trick-or-treat through decorated vehicles, with candy bags encouraged.

The Trunk-or-Treat will also feature an inflatable corn maze, axe throwing for both kids and adults, and a food truck serving meals throughout the afternoon. A trunk decorating contest will award a $100 Powder Horn Office gift certificate and a surprise prize bag to the winner.
