LARVC Sets Final Registration Period for 2026 Annual Conference in Baton Rouge

The Louisiana Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (LARVC) is entering the final registration period for its 2026 Annual Conference, which will take place January 18–20, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The event will be hosted at L’Auberge Hotel & Casino, with select activities held at Tiger’s Trail RV Resort, located across from the casino. The conference is designed to bring together campground, RV park, and outdoor hospitality professionals from across the state and region for education, networking, and association business.

Activities begin on Sunday, January 18, with an evening welcome event at Tiger’s Trail RV Resort. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available starting at 6:00 p.m. at the resort’s main office, providing an informal setting for attendees to connect ahead of the formal conference program. Social networking opportunities will continue throughout the evening.

The main conference sessions will take place on Monday, January 19, at the Main Event Center in Ballroom B. Registration and vendor setup will run from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

The morning program includes a presentation from the Office of Tourism focusing on “Year of the Outdoors” marketing opportunities, followed by a session led by Lisa Courtney, Director of Operations for Camp Jellystone, titled “Recreation Reimagined: Activities, Approaches, and Staffing for Today’s Campgrounds.” Lunch is scheduled at noon.

The afternoon will feature “Roundtables Cracker Barrels,” moderated by Greg Domingue, allowing open discussion among operators on shared challenges and operational topics.

An exhibitor trade show is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Evening programming begins at 6:00 p.m. with dinner, a cash bar, a live auction, and RV Park Trivia hosted by App My Community’s Bobby Sorden.

Tuesday, January 20, will conclude the conference with a series of sessions and association business meetings held in the Chatsworth Room near the hotel registration desk.

The morning includes the LARVC membership meeting and 2026 board elections at 9:00 a.m., followed by presentations on artificial intelligence by Kayla Dodge and Kayla Blanchard, working with convention and visitors bureaus by Tico Soto, and “OHI Trends & Insights” and advocacy led by David Basler.

The conference will conclude with lunch and a 1:30 p.m. tour of Tiger’s Trail RV Resort.

Conference sponsors include Platinum Sponsors Cajun Broadband, Inc. and Clayton Park Models; Gold Sponsor Leavitt Recreation & Hospitality Insurance; Silver Sponsors Livingston Parish Tourism and Visit Baton Rouge; and Bronze Sponsors Louisiana Travel Association, Parkside RV Park, and App My Community.

For campground and RV park owners, the agenda reflects a continued focus on marketing partnerships, operational staffing strategies, emerging technology, and industry trends.

The inclusion of roundtable discussions and site tours offers practical opportunities for peer learning and real-world application, particularly for operators planning for the 2026 season and beyond.
