Living Vehicle, a leading luxury travel trailer manufacturer, recently introduced its 2024 HD model, an all-electric trailer equipped with unparalleled off-grid capabilities and solar power features that surpass most residential homes.
Designed for a sustainable off-grid living experience without compromising modern amenities, the 2024 Living Vehicle luxury travel trailer relies on renewable solar energy to provide comfortable full-time living, even in changing environmental conditions, according to a press release.
As the world faces increasing uncertainty with rolling blackouts and extreme weather events, Living Vehicle aims to offer an alternative lifestyle that ensures basic needs like shelter, water, and comfort are met independently from unreliable electrical grids and water resources.
Joanna Hofmann, co-founder and chief creative officer of Living Vehicle, highlights the HD series’ unmatched off-grid liveability.
“We’ve designed a luxury living experience that combines the comfort of a 5-star hotel with the freedom of being surrounded by nature, all while being self-sufficient and free from utilities,” she said.
The 2024 HD model offers customizable floor plans with multiple bedroom configurations, accommodating up to 8 adults. Additionally, the travel trailer features a Mobile Office, complete with an 80-inch dual workstation and folding bed system, catering to remote professionals and creatives.

A key aspect of the 2024 Living Vehicle lineup is its independence from the grid. The luxury trailer employs an innovative water system that extracts humidity from the air, storing it in the freshwater tank for extended off-grid stays.
The flagship HD PRO model boasts 72 kWh of energy storage and 18 kW of power, sufficient to run all onboard electrical equipment, including heating and cooling systems.
The Living Vehicle is built for true four-season capability, withstanding temperatures ranging from -4°F to 120°F. This is achieved through its dual-zone 240V Mini-Split electric heating system and 24K BTU air conditioning system with a SEER-21 rating, along with 100% rigid closed-cell foam insulation.
Matthew Hofmann, CEO and architect of Living Vehicle, emphasizes the importance of designing solutions for real-world off-grid conditions. He states that although Living Vehicle is an all-electric design, backup systems like generators and high-power alternators are crucial to ensure reliability in extreme environments.
The Living Vehicle HD model is currently in production, with orders being accepted for 2024 deliveries starting at $459,995. Additionally, the company is launching the 24-foot LT series, tailored for adventurers seeking a compact yet feature-rich travel trailer, with prices starting at $359,995.
