Lippert Components’s Furrion brand has launched the Aurora Partial-Sun 2, the fourth-generation model in its line of outdoor smart televisions. The release expands the company’s outdoor living lineup and is aimed at meeting growing consumer demand for durable, weather-ready entertainment systems.
The Aurora Partial-Sun 2 builds on the foundation of the original Aurora Partial-Sun TV, a series that has become a fixture in outdoor entertainment. The new model introduces upgraded performance and protection features.
Designed for use in partly sunny environments, the Aurora Partial-Sun 2 provides an improved viewing experience for outdoor settings where traditional indoor televisions fall short.
Its enhancements are targeted toward homeowners and hospitality operators who want a reliable solution for patios, decks, and other recreational spaces.
The television features a 4K ultra-high-definition display with HDR10 capability, offering sharper contrasts and more vivid colors.
With a 750-nit brightness rating and an anti-glare screen, the unit is engineered to deliver consistent picture clarity despite changes in natural lighting.
Smart capabilities are also integrated through the webOS Hub platform, which allows direct access to popular streaming services without requiring an external device.
To address connectivity issues that can arise outdoors, the unit incorporates Furrion’s RangeXtend external WiFi antennas, designed to enhance signal reception from indoor routers.
Durability also remains a central feature of the Aurora lineup. The Partial-Sun 2 carries an IP55 rating, protecting it against rain, snow, dust, insects, and UV exposure.
Its XtremeShield IK09-rated tempered glass adds an extra layer of protection against potential impacts in active outdoor settings.
The television is also built to handle year-round weather extremes. It is rated for operation in temperatures ranging from minus 24 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit and can be stored safely in environments as cold as minus 27 and as hot as 160 degrees.
The Aurora Partial-Sun 2 is available in 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models. Each features powder-coated metal construction, a structured bezel design, and comes with a two-year limited warranty, reflecting the company’s focus on long-term durability.
