Lippert, an RV components supplier, has introduced its first Keyless, Bluetooth-enabled door lock for RVs – the most recent innovation in a rapid-growing market for smartphones and RV technology, according to a report by Camping Trade World.
Lippert RV door lock lets the user unlock and lock their RV using their smartphone. It uses proximity sensors to identify your location. It will also enable remote locking and access via the OneControl application.
The lock also offers audio feedback for the successful locking and unlocking features. Furthermore, it comes with a Bluetooth locking device for the RV comes equipped with two ways of entry in the event of failure of the smart device and dead batteries. A keypad that lights up at night to provide full-button accessibility, as well as regular keys.

RV owners can utilize the OneControl application to configure various battery settings for the Bluetooth lock for their RV. Normal mode is designed for standard operation, and storage mode can be switched on when the camping vehicle is stored, and the app can stop controlling the lock.
Low Power mode cuts down the consumption of batteries by 30%, which helps extend the life of batteries. The OneControl app is a great way to track the life of the door lock’s battery and lets the user know when it’s time to replace the batteries.
The door lock does not require wiring and can be retrofitted onto all RV entrance doors equipped with conventional latches.
