Nominations for the 2025 OHI Board of Directors will close on Thursday, June 5, marking the final opportunity for outdoor hospitality professionals to run or nominate a peer for a leadership role.
The election seeks to fill board positions that will help shape the direction of the RV park, campground, and glamping industry.
OHI, formerly known as the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds, is encouraging industry stakeholders to participate in the nomination process, citing board service as a key avenue for professional growth and community impact.
“This is your opportunity to get involved, serve your community, and help shape the future of outdoor hospitality,” OHI stated in its official announcement.
The call extends to individuals across the sector, including campground owners, RV dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, investors, and association leaders.
Board members are responsible for providing strategic oversight, advancing advocacy efforts, and supporting initiatives that align with OHI’s mission.
The organization aims to empower outdoor hospitality businesses by delivering resources, training, and policy support that ensure long-term success.
“If you care about this industry and want to have a hand in its growth and future, OHI board service is one of the most impactful ways to do that,” said Paul Bambei, president and CEO of OHI.
“We welcome new voices, bold ideas, and experienced leaders alike, because collaboration is at the heart of everything we do at OHI,” Bambei added.
Board terms are structured to allow up to two consecutive three-year terms.
Members are expected to attend meetings throughout the year and act in the best interest of OHI’s diverse membership base.
Those interested in nominating themselves or others are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria and expectations listed at OHI.org/BoardService.
“Whether nominating yourself or someone else, we encourage thoughtful, mission-driven participation. Let’s continue building the future of outdoor hospitality together,” OHI said in a press release.
