KOA Renews JR Motorsports Partnership for 2026 NASCAR Season

JR Motorsports announced on November 19 that Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) will return as a partner for the team during the 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season.

The agreement continues a long-running relationship between the outdoor hospitality company and the motorsports organization and includes a primary sponsorship of one race for driver Connor Zilisch and the No. 1 Chevrolet.

KOA will also serve as an associate partner across multiple JR Motorsports entries throughout the full season and maintain its year-long partnership with driver Wyatt Miller.

Zilisch, who has worked with KOA throughout his early NASCAR career, said he looks forward to extending the collaboration.

“It’s so cool to be back in the KOA Chevrolet in 2026,” Zilisch said. “I really enjoyed continuing to get to know everyone from KOA this past season and learning more about their business. KOA has been a big part of my NASCAR career from the very beginning, and I am proud to wear their colors again next season.”

KOA’s partnership with JR Motorsports is designed to maintain brand visibility among racing enthusiasts, a demographic that overlaps significantly with camping and RV travelers.

With more than 500 KOA campgrounds across the United States and Canada—including many located within driving distance of major race venues on the 2026 schedule—the company continues to leverage motorsports as a platform to promote camping as an accessible lodging option for traveling fans.

KOA properties offer tent sites, deluxe RV accommodations, and cabins, giving travelers varied choices for extended stays surrounding race events.

Toby O’Rourke, president and CEO of KOA, said the renewal aligns with KOA’s broader efforts to connect with outdoor-oriented travelers. “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with JR Motorsports,” O’Rourke said.

“Racing and camping bring people together through adventure, community, and unforgettable experiences. This collaboration connects KOA with motorsports fans in a unique way—enhancing their race weekends and inspiring them to explore the great outdoors.”

Zilisch is scheduled to drive the No. 1 KOA Chevrolet at Chicagoland Speedway on July 4, 2026, when the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series returns to the track. The event will air on the CW, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.

For professionals in the outdoor hospitality industry, the ongoing partnership highlights how major lodging brands continue to integrate with sports marketing to reach experience-driven travelers.

Motorsports events often draw RV owners and campers who require accommodations near host cities, making sponsorships like this one a potential model for outdoor hospitality businesses seeking cross-industry exposure.
