OHI is inviting members of the outdoor hospitality community to honor colleagues, mentors, and friends who have passed away this year through its “annual In Memoriam tribute” at the 2025 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE).
Each year, OHI recognizes the lives and legacies of individuals who made a lasting impact on the outdoor hospitality sector during the Awards of Excellence luncheon at OHCE. OHI shared the invitation through a LinkedIn post, encouraging industry professionals to submit names for inclusion in this year’s remembrance.
“If you know of an individual in our industry who has passed away this year, a colleague, mentor, or friend, we invite you to share their name for inclusion in our annual In Memoriam tribute,” OHI stated. “Please complete all submissions by October 30, 2025.”
The post emphasized the importance of honoring those who helped shape the outdoor hospitality landscape, adding, “Let’s ensure their legacy continues to inspire all of us who carry the spirit of outdoor hospitality forward.”
The In Memoriam tribute has become a meaningful tradition at OHCE, bringing together campground and RV park owners, glamping operators, and industry partners to celebrate those who contributed to the community’s growth and development.
This year’s OHCE will take place November 10–12 in Louisville, Kentucky, serving once again as the premier gathering for professionals across the outdoor hospitality sector.
OHI describes OHCE as “the industry’s premier trade show, known for its focus on possibility-driven professional development and unparalleled networking opportunities.”
Recognized as a “Top 50” trade show by Trade Show Magazine, the event offers education sessions, business insights, and an expansive expo floor featuring innovative products and services.
According to OHI, attendees can expect to “glean insights from industry-leading experts, forge connections with peers, explore cutting-edge products and services on the expo floor, and much more.”
OHI also highlighted OHCE’s role in inspiring business growth, stating that participants will have opportunities to “explore fresh ideas to elevate your campground, from marketing strategies to guest experience enhancements.”
The conference’s educational sessions are designed to deliver “practical and implementable knowledge from experts who understand the unique challenges of RV park and campground ownership.” Attendees will also see firsthand “what trends and technologies are transforming campground management.”
Beyond education, OHCE emphasizes connection and collaboration within the industry. “Network with peers, partners, and experts in the field, all while sharing in the excitement of a shared journey to greatness and gaining insights from each other,” the post said.
