Glamping is here to stay. This type of camping continues to prove that it’s more than just a trend as more travelers are expressing interest in going glamping this year. If you’re one of the 50% of campers seeking this experience in 2022, let the magic of glamping enchant you at Juniper Moon Grove.

This remote camping site offers a magical forest experience as it is cloaked within 8.6 acres of wooded area in Kentucky’s humble town of Ewing.
From its cozy accommodation options to a colorful tree weave, this place is a must-visit, but what else is there?
Glamping at Juniper Moon Grove means enjoying time in nature without completely roughing it. Precisely because the owners built it to be a human sanctuary where people can come for solitude and self-reflection, guests are asked to not wear shoes in its spaces and practice “leave no trace” when treading the land.
If it’s an uninterrupted time with nature you’re seeking, this property offers comfortable camping accommodations in a secluded area in Fleming County. Groups of up to four people can choose to book a glamping tent and a 12’x14’ cabin, that can comfortably accommodate two guests each.

For an escalated tent camping approach, The Sanctuary is the ideal site to book. This is a 14’x’20’ pavilion with a canvas tent fitted with a full-size bed and an outdoor lounging space with a coffee and tea bar.
After a quick hike down the woods, glampers can find the pavilion resting in the middle of teeming trees, ensuring a nature experience like no other.

When booking a private getaway, campers can also opt to stay in the Amish-built cabin. The structure measures 12’ x 14’ and has a 6’ covered porch. Inside is a queen-size bed and a coffee/tea bar.

For an off-grid property like Juniper Moon Grove, building structures is not as easy, as accessing the area can prove to be too difficult for some contractors.
“It was actually kind of difficult finding a contractor who was willing to walk down into the woods and build a structure down a hiking trail,” Co-Owner Jason Menard told Modern Campground.
Luckily, they found a listing for a local contractor, and the rest is history.

Also on the property, guests can utilize a luxury outhouse with an off-grid toilet and sink, a communal fire pit with seats, a picnic table with a propane cooking griddle, and hiking trails to explore.
An eye-catching feature at Juniper Moon Grove, however, is the three-level tree weave built by artists from Asheville, North Carolina. The colorful tree net can be accessed after a short hike from the pavilion.

Nearby, travelers can stop by Turtleback Ridge Brewery just two minutes down the road for craft beers. Also, less than an hour away is a zoo, Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park, a 114-acre lake for kayaking and a beach for swimming, a drive-in theater, and more.
The glamping site is the ideal place to unwind and connect with nature because the stars and moon at the location shine ever so brightly as the area is untouched by pollution.
While the business has only been open for less than a month, it has already accommodated its first wave of guests. Menard is keeping his hopes up that more will be on the way.
“So there’s definitely more to come for Juniper Moon Grove. Right now, we’re just, like, stoked that […] we’ve been listed for a week and three people have come and stayed with us. So we’re like, that’s awesome,” the co-owner told Modern Campground in an interview last week.
“We built it and we didn’t know people would come. And people are actually coming out and sort of validating why we built this place, so we’re pretty stoked,” he added.
