RV Products, a division of Airxcel, has completed the final phase of its expansion at the Wichita, Kansas, facility. The project, which began in 2022, has added 125,000 square feet of space, enhancing the company’s operational capacity and centralizing production for its brands, COLEMAN-MACH and MAXXAIR. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on August 16 to celebrate the milestone.
The expansion was carried out in two phases, with the first phase adding 113,000 square feet of manufacturing space and improving logistics with new employee parking and an entrance.
The second phase, completed in July 2024, added 12,000 square feet of office space, bringing the project to its conclusion. The expanded facility now houses both manufacturing operations and warehouse functions, streamlining the company’s production and distribution processes.
Rob Leach, division president of RV Products, highlighted the significance of the expansion. “Our dedication to our customers and employees is steadfast, and this expansion is a testament to that commitment,” Leach said.
“Since introducing the first-ever RV rooftop AC in 1967 with COLEMAN-MACH and continuing with MAXXAIR from 1989, we have been steadfast supporters of the industry,” he explained.
The additional space is expected to improve efficiency for both brands, which produce a range of air conditioners, ventilation products, and accessories tailored to the RV market. COLEMAN-MACH, known for its RV climate control products, and MAXXAIR, recognized for its ventilation systems, will benefit from the new centralized operations at the Wichita facility.
