Kaehr to Present Customer Communication and Change Management Strategies at 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo

Dustin Kaehr, president of The Think. Lead. Live. Group, will lead two breakout sessions at the 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo, offering RV dealers and fixed operations professionals tools for handling difficult customer conversations and navigating organizational change. 

The event will take place November 10–14 at Paris Las Vegas.

Kaehr, a leadership consultant and business coach with more than 20 years of experience, is known for helping businesses strengthen team performance and operational efficiency. His sessions are part of the event’s fixed operations and business innovation education tracks.

The first session, “The Customer Call: Navigating Tough Conversations with Confidence,” is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. 

This workshop is designed to help fixed operations staff manage challenging customer interactions.

Drawing on his experience as a high school and college basketball official, Kaehr will offer strategies to maintain composure in high-pressure situations. 

“Attendees will learn how to de-escalate tense customer interactions by actively listening, validating concerns, and responding with confidence,” the event listing notes.

The session will also address techniques such as using tone and body language effectively and reframing conflict as an opportunity to build stronger customer relationships by delivering the “kind truth.”

Kaehr’s second session, “Shifting Gears: Navigating Change in Sales & Finance with Confidence,” follows from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. on the same day. This workshop is tailored for sales professionals and dealership leaders navigating internal or external change.

Participants will also learn how to stay focused and grounded during uncertain times by aligning their values with business decisions. “Reframe change as a growth opportunity to increase adaptability and resilience,” the program states.

In addition to the breakout sessions, Kaehr will lead a half-day leadership development course on Tuesday, November 11, from 8:00 to 11:45 a.m. 

Titled “Discovering Your Leadership Brand and Increasing Your Impact,” the course focuses on self-assessment and personalized leadership strategies.

The intensive session, offered for an additional $124 fee, is made possible through sponsorship by Gulf Stream Coach for the 10th consecutive year. It will guide participants through developing a leadership brand and implementing an action plan to enhance effectiveness.

The 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo is hosted by RVDA of the U.S., RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center. It serves as a platform for dealers to access educational sessions and build business relationships.

The convention includes opportunities for dealership personnel to meet with suppliers and service providers in the Expo, as well as learn from peers and industry leaders. Sessions span fixed operations, sales, finance, and general management.
