Three Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park locations have been recognized among the top six RV parks in the United States in USA TODAY’s 10Best 2024 Readers’ Choice competition. The parks in Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and Texas were selected.
Trent Hershenson, vice president of marketing for Camp Jellystone, expressed his delight with the recognition. “We are thrilled that USA TODAY readers consistently rank Jellystone Park campgrounds among the best in the nation,” Hershenson said.
Jellystone Park in Pelahatchie, Mississippi, achieved the number two spot and was recognized for its array of family-friendly attractions. Visitors can enjoy a swimming pool, thrilling water slides, and a multilevel splash pad. Additionally, the park offers a variety of engaging activities, including miniature golf, laser tag, human foosball, and the Water Wars game.
Ranked fourth is the Jellystone Park in Mill Run, Pennsylvania. This location boasts multiple pools, a splashground with interactive water features, and several water slides. Unique attractions such as snowless tubing, paintball, and laser tag add to its appeal.
Additionally, Jellystone Park in Burleson, Texas, placed sixth. The park showcases multiple pools, jumping pillows, and archery tags, as well as a 260-foot-long pirate ship with built-in cabins.
All three top-ranked Jellystone Park locations share common attractions and activities that make them family favorites. Each park offers numerous interactions with Yogi Bear characters, adding to the fun and excitement. Accommodations range from lakeside and RV sites to unique glamping options like tree house cabins and furnished wagons.
The recent enhancements at these parks have significantly contributed to their rankings. The Pelahatchie location added a new slide, a Water Wars game, laser tag, gem mining, human foosball, and a jumping pad. Mill Run introduced a new miniature golf course, RC track, and a jump pillow. Additionally, Burleson has expanded its RV sites and glamping accommodations, including covered wagons, tipis, and grain silos, with new swimming pools expected to open soon.
Hershenson mentioned that the consistent ranking of three Jellystone Park locations among the top six RV parks in the nation for three consecutive years demonstrates how much families value these parks.
