Jellystone Park Locations Earn Top Honors in Good Housekeeping and OHI Awards

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts received multiple national recognitions this month, with three locations earning top honors from Good Housekeeping and OHI

The awards highlight innovation, guest experience, and the growing prominence of the family-focused franchise across the United States and Canada.

The Jellystone Park location in Zion, Utah was named a Good Housekeeping 2026 Travel Awards winner in the Camping and Glamping category. The designation places the 53-acre destination among the top travel experiences featured in the magazine’s annual selections.

According to the announcement, the Zion park features multiple pools, giant water slides, and family attractions, distinguishing it among properties in Southern Utah. Good Housekeeping recognized the park as part of its broader review of travel, adventure, and accommodations.

Two additional Jellystone Park locations received top honors from OHI. The organization’s Awards of Excellence program is its leading annual recognition for park operators.

OHI introduced a new top award this year, the Park Innovator of the Year Award, which replaces its former Park of the Year accolade. The award recognizes campgrounds that demonstrate innovation and contribute to advancing the outdoor hospitality sector.

Jellystone Park Pittsfield in Illinois received the Park Innovator of the Year Award in the medium-size category for parks with 101 to 250 sites. This recognition places the park among the top-performing mid-size destinations evaluated by OHI.

Jellystone Park Glen Ellis in New Hampshire earned the Park Innovator of the Year Award in the category for large parks with 251 to 500 sites.

Last year, Jellystone Park Columbus North in Mt. Gilead, Ohio was named Park of the Year by OHI in the medium-size category for parks with 101 to 250 sites. It was one of five Jellystone Park locations recognized as finalists in the 2024 awards program.

Jellystone Park locations also earned national media recognition for family camping and glamping. Properties in Pelahatchie, Mississippi, and Mill Run, Pennsylvania were recently ranked among the top four RV parks in the United States in USATODAY’s 10Best 2025 Readers’ Choice competition.

The Pelahatchie location ranked number two nationally, while the Mill Run park earned fourth place for the second consecutive year.

Additional national media outlets recognizing the brand include Parents magazine, the Travel Channel, and U.S. News & World Report.

Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts are known for pools, mini golf, jump pillows, organized family activities, and interactions with Yogi Bear characters. The franchise operates more than 75 locations across the United States and Canada.
