Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Expand Glamping Options Across North America

Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts, a franchise network known for family-friendly amenities and licensed Yogi Bear characters, continues to expand its lineup of glamping accommodations across its more than 75 locations in the United States and Canada.

“We offer everything from small cabins to huge bunkhouses and lodges that are popular for family reunions, weddings, anniversaries, and other special celebrations,” said Trent Hershenson, vice president of marketing for Camp Jellystone, the Southfield, Michigan-based franchisor.

The parks also operate in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.

According to a press release, at the Glen, New Hampshire, location, families can choose from glamping pods that sleep up to four or Bear-A-Dise Bungalows, which resemble tiny homes and sleep two adults.

Similarly, the park in Carver, Massachusetts, features Bear Cub Glamping Pods, while Tabor City, North Carolina, offers a combination of yurts and cabins.

The Burleson, Texas, location near Dallas has developed some of the network’s most distinctive lodging options. These include glamping tipis, furnished covered wagons, and two-story cabins built from repurposed grain silos.

Each unit is fully equipped with beds, climate control, kitchen amenities, and outdoor seating.

The Burleson park also houses a 260-foot pirate ship structure that features 10 two-bedroom vacation cabin suites.

Other locations are also diversifying their accommodations. In Larkspur, Colorado, guests can stay in elite cabins with hot tubs, while in Mill Run, Pennsylvania, a two-story Appalachian Treehouse includes a tree-shaped base and a stone fireplace.

In Bostic, North Carolina, the park offers treetop cabins, glamping tents, and lakeview lodges. North Monmouth, Maine, has a four-bedroom house that sleeps up to 16 guests and includes a fireplace and a six-burner stove. Fremont, Indiana, hosts the Three Bears Lodge, which accommodates up to 19 guests.

In Waller, Texas, the Grand Lodge has a capacity for 28.

Several franchisees are actively expanding their offerings. The Estes Park location in Colorado is adding nine cabins for the 2025 season. Bremen, Georgia, is completing a large-scale expansion that includes more than 200 RV sites, 71 cabins, and 10 covered wagons, along with new water features and a renovated activity center.

Additional upgrades include two glamping tents at the Cochran, Georgia, location; four new cabins and 72 RV sites recently added in Nova, Ohio; and two high-end cabins with fireplaces and lofted decks in Caledonia, Wisconsin.
