RVIA to Host a Volunteer Restoration Project at Potato Creek State

In less than two weeks, the RV Industry Association’s (RVIA) Emerging Leaders Coalition will host the volunteer restoration project on May 11 from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Potato Creek State Park (Indiana).

This event will launch a new initiative to improve parks for RVers throughout the country since more Americans rely on RVs as the ideal way to have an active outdoor lifestyle, as per RVIA’s News & Insight report.

Volunteer projects may include the construction of an amphitheater, rebuilding or replacing footbridges, building benches and seating next to the Nature Center, restoring and repairing the fish cleaning station, repairing and restoring bathroom exteriors, and repainting and reinstalling park signs.

Volunteers can sign up for a single shift or multiple shifts in the following time slots:

  • 8:30 am – 11:30 am
  • 11:30 am – 2:30 pm
  • 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm

If you are interested in joining the event, click here to sign up.

Volunteers will receive more information, including detailed meetup instructions, once the number of volunteers and project groupings have been finalized.

For inquiries about the event, contact the RV Industry Association’s Emerging Leaders Staff Liaison, Samantha Rocci, as well as Coalition Members, Michilah Grimes, and Mike Gaeddert.
