Camp Aramoni, a boutique campground in Illinois, will open reservations for the 2026 calendar year on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 10 a.m. CST.
The campground, which spans 96 acres along the Vermilion River, offers a combination of outdoor experiences and structured amenities. Weekend stays are expected to book quickly, according to the campground’s announcement.
The property, formerly the site of Ristokrat Clay Products Company, retains elements of its industrial history. A husband-and-wife team, with support from local partners and family members, has restored parts of the original brickyard while developing the site into a boutique camping destination.
The project reflects a growing trend among boutique campgrounds to repurpose historic or underutilized land for hospitality purposes, offering both preservation and recreational opportunities.

Camp Aramoni provides 11 safari-style tents with upscale amenities. Each tent accommodates between two and six guests and includes air conditioning, heating, private restrooms, a mini fridge, luxury linens, and a personal fire pit.
Rates are inclusive of breakfast, dinner, firewood, and s’mores. Guests can access The Barn at the center of the campground, which includes spaces for dining, relaxing, and a general store stocked with sundries and merchandise.
On-site activities leverage the property’s natural features, including private hiking trails, ponds, meadows, and the Vermilion River. Complimentary recreational options include hiking, canoeing, fishing, biking, birdwatching, and lawn or board games.

The campground also maintains a library in The Barn for guests. These offerings align with trends in the glamping and outdoor hospitality sectors, where immersive, all-inclusive experiences are increasingly popular among travelers seeking both convenience and outdoor engagement.
Industry observers note that boutique campgrounds such as Camp Aramoni can provide insights for other operators regarding occupancy strategies, guest amenities, and revenue models.
For example, structuring rates to include meals and certain activities can enhance guest satisfaction while streamlining operational management. Similarly, integrating historical or environmental features into the guest experience can differentiate a property in a competitive market.
Reservations will be available on November 28, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. CST. Interested parties can contact Camp Aramoni at (815) 224-7333 or via email at [email protected] for booking and additional information.
