The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a limited-time 25% discount on select cabins, yurts, and RV sites at five state parks from December 16 through January 4.
The promotion provides campers with an affordable opportunity to experience Idaho’s winter landscapes.
The state parks participating in the winter promotion include Ponderosa, Harriman, Bear Lake, Bruneau Dunes, and Hells Gate. Each park is offering specific lodging or camping discounts to attract winter visitors.
Ponderosa State Park is offering a 25% discount on all cabins. Harriman State Park is applying the discount to all cabins and yurts. Bear Lake State Park includes all RV sites in the promotion.
Bruneau Dunes and Hells Gate State Parks are also offering discounts on both cabins and RV sites.
Visitors must use the discount codes Camping25 for RV sites or Lodging25 for cabins and yurts at checkout. The codes must be entered at the time of booking for the discount to apply.
According to an article published by Big Country News Connection, Susan Buxton, director of the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, said, “Whether you prefer a warmer winter experience, or a snowy, lakeside cabin, Idaho’s State Parks provide the perfect holiday retreat for all visitors.”
The promotion is intended to increase winter visitation and provide an affordable holiday option for families, couples, and solo campers. The discounted offerings are also designed to attract both new and returning visitors and support seasonal tourism across the state.
Idaho’s state parks offer a range of winter activities, from sledding down the sandy slopes of Bruneau Dunes to cozy stays by lakeside cabins at Harriman or Bear Lake.
In Ponderosa State Park, the destination offers a range of overnight accommodations, including cabins, RV campsites, and tent campsites, with nine cabins located along the shore of Payette Lake.
