Hipcamp has announced the winners of its 2025 Hipcamp Awards, highlighting some of the most highly rated and frequently booked camping destinations in the United States.
The annual awards program recognizes a wide variety of campsites—from remote desert locations and forested retreats to glamping sites and RV-friendly areas—with winners selected based on user reviews, bookings, and ratings from Hipcamp’s network of over 7 million users.
The 2025 list includes destinations across all 50 U.S. states and features properties offering unique accommodations such as treehouses, cabins, farmstays, and oceanfront RV parks.
Examples of this year’s award recipients include The Wandering Path in Santa Rosa County, Florida, Lil Snowbird Farm Primitive Camping in North Carolina’s Graham County, Cosumnes River Ranch in Amador County, California, and the Wild WA Coast Lookout near Olympic National Park in Washington.
All these locations were identified as top-performing properties in their respective states, as per a press release.
This year, Hipcamp introduced a new category: Best Dark-Sky Campsites in the U.S., which honors campsites recognized for their optimal conditions for stargazing.
The category complements existing award lists, which include Best Tent Sites, Best RV & Van Spots, Best Cabin Rentals, Best Glamping Sites, Best Treehouses, and Best Farmstays. Hipcamp also recognized newer listings through its Newcomer Awards and honored long-time hosts with Legacy Awards.
“Every year, we’re impressed by the quality of sites and experiences that our Hipcamp Hosts create for campers, and this year’s competition was no less fierce,” said Alyssa Ravasio, CEO and Founder of Hipcamp.
“Hipcamp Award winners are some of the best campsites in the world, offering unforgettable experiences, incredible natural views, and magic for our campers. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or planning your first trip, the Hipcamp Awards serve as your go-to guide for discovering the most exceptional camping destinations in the world.”
According to the company, all award-winning campsites are available for real-time booking through the Hipcamp app, which recently expanded its U.S. inventory and now includes over 500,000 listings, making it the largest catalog of camping accommodations in the country.
The platform integrates availability across private land, national parks, farms, and other public and private spaces.
For outdoor hospitality providers, recognition by Hipcamp offers visibility among a large and active user base of campers.
With travelers increasingly seeking nature-based accommodations and unique outdoor stays, platforms like Hipcamp can play a key role in marketing, guest acquisition, and seasonal booking optimization.
Properties recognized in these awards often benefit from heightened exposure, increased demand, and a reputation for high-quality guest experiences.
