Hipcamp and Cloudbeds Launch Integration to Streamline Bookings for Campground Operators

Hipcamp has partnered with hospitality technology provider Cloudbeds to launch an API integration that allows campground and RV park operators to automatically sync availability and reservations across both platforms.

The partnership is positioned to reduce administrative workload while expanding access to a broader booking audience, particularly younger and first-time campers.

For operators already using Cloudbeds to manage their property management systems (PMS), the integration offers an avenue to optimize occupancy and improve workflow.

The API connection allows for real-time synchronization, minimizing the risk of double bookings and manual data entry.

By bringing together Hipcamp’s reach and Cloudbeds’ operational framework, the integration is intended to streamline channel management across the outdoor hospitality segment.

The move reflects a broader trend in the outdoor hospitality space, where increased digitization and automation are becoming central to property management.

Many operators have long faced the challenge of managing multiple booking channels while trying to maintain accurate inventory and pricing. Integrations such as this one signal the industry’s continued shift toward centralized, tech-driven solutions.

“This integration represents a strategic advancement for campground operators seeking to expand their digital footprint and optimize their revenue streams,” said Sebastien Leitner, VP of Partnerships at Cloudbeds.

“By uniting Hipcamp’s industry-leading marketplace with Cloudbeds’ intelligent platform, we’re enabling properties to leverage data-driven insights, capture high-value demographics, and seamlessly optimize their entire operation through our unified technology ecosystem.”

The integration also presents new marketing opportunities, particularly as consumer demographics continue to evolve.

Hipcamp reports that 75% of its users are under the age of 55, and 98% of bookings made through the platform are by first-time guests. This suggests the potential to attract a younger, untapped market for many established campgrounds.

“Hipcamp is the simplest way to grow your campground business, and this integration makes it easier than ever for campground operators using Cloudbeds to reach millions of new campers,” said Alyssa Ravasio, founder and CEO of Hipcamp.

For business owners in the outdoor hospitality sector, the ability to connect to Hipcamp via Cloudbeds may offer strategic value, not just through increased visibility but also by helping to future-proof operations through tech-driven efficiencies.

As guest expectations evolve and booking behaviors continue to shift online, campground operators may find integrations like this one increasingly essential for sustainable growth.
