Grant Brown Awarded Mike Molino RV Learning Center Scholarship for 2025-2026

Grant Brown has been named the recipient of the Mike Molino RV Learning Center College Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The award, valued at $2,500, supports RV industry employees or their dependents pursuing undergraduate studies. It is funded through the Kindlund Family Foundation.

Brown is the son of Matt Brown, general manager at Little Dealer Little Prices (Campers Inn of Mesa). He is currently a rising junior at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, where he is pursuing a double major in business management and finance.

With a 3.54 GPA, Brown has maintained strong academic performance while balancing a demanding course load.

“I’ve grown up watching my dad work in the RV business. I have experienced how the RV industry is about selling something that enables families to create memories that last a lifetime,” Brown said in a press release.

“I find this industry extremely rewarding because there are very few industries where the product you sell can bring people and families together in this way,” Brown added.

The RV Learning Center highlighted Brown’s record of achievement in announcing the award. “The Mike Molino RV Learning Center is proud to recognize Grant Brown for his outstanding achievements both in the classroom and in the community,” said Ally Brown, education director of the RV Learning Center.

“His dedication, talent, and passion for learning represent the bright future of the RV industry,” Ally added.

The scholarship is one of the oldest of its kind in the RV sector. It was established more than two decades ago through a $370,000 endowment by the Kindlund Family Foundation. The Kindlund family remains engaged in the industry, even after selling Holiday RV Superstores in 1999.

“This scholarship is one of the oldest in the industry and we are very proud to have established it over 20 years ago,” said Newt Kindlund, director emeritus on the RV Learning Center Board of Directors.

Since its inception in 2000, the program has awarded $85,000 in scholarships to 34 students. Recipients are evaluated based on their academic performance, extracurricular involvement, financial need, and commitment to the RV industry. Applicants must also submit a 500-word essay outlining their career goals.

The scholarship is open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are either currently involved in the RV industry or plan to pursue a career in the field. By supporting these students, the program helps strengthen the industry’s future workforce.

The RV Learning Center provides educational resources and professional development programs tailored specifically for dealership staff. Its offerings include targeted publications, certification programs in fixed operations, online training, and live workshops.
