Go RVing’s “Don’t Go There” Campaign Wins Platinum, Gold at 2025 MUSE Creative Awards

Go RVing’s interim spring 2025 “Don’t Go There” marketing campaign has earned two major accolades at the 2025 MUSE Creative Awards, an international competition recognizing excellence in creative and design industries across the globe.

The campaign’s comedic 30-second commercials, titled “Hotel Hassles” and “Airplane Problems,” won Platinum and Gold awards, respectively, in the Travel category. The MUSE Creative Awards, organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA), received more than 6,300 submissions this year.

“Hotel Hassles” received the Platinum award, the competition’s highest honor, for its humorous portrayal of the unpredictability often experienced during hotel stays. The spot’s narrative emphasizes RV travel as a more reliable and comfortable alternative.

“Airplane Problems” also earned a Gold award for its playful depiction of the common frustrations associated with commercial air travel. The ad highlights the ease and freedom that RV travel offers to families and vacationers.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA, Karen Redfern, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Go RVing, credited the success to the campaign’s relatable message and visual storytelling.

“The awards reflect the power of creative storytelling and the resonance of our message with travelers looking for a less stressful way to get to and enjoy their destination. The ads, while light-hearted, are spot on. Most parents, including me, have shared the same travel woes,” said Redfern.

Redfern also praised the work of Explore Commercial Productions and executive producer Jeremy Pinckert, who adapted Go RVing’s prior radio campaign into a visual format.

The MUSE Creative Awards were established in 2015 to honor outstanding work in creative design, advertising, and digital media. Entries are evaluated by a panel of internationally recognized industry professionals.

In the Travel category, judges look for innovative storytelling, effective messaging, and visual impact that resonates with a global audience. The awards are designed to spotlight campaigns that push boundaries and set new standards for excellence.
