Go RVing Showcases RV Lifestyle at American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe

Go RVing took center stage at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, connecting spectators and celebrity participants with the RV lifestyle as part of its broader 2025 Experiential Events strategy.

This year’s event drew notable figures including Travis and Jason Kelce, Steph Curry, Miles Teller, Larry the Cable Guy, Charles Barkley, Grant Hill, David Wells, and Gary Sheffield.

“Participation in this event is part of Go RVing’s 2025 Experiential Events strategy in giving consumers the chance to step inside an RV and visualize what’s just beyond the door of their next getaway,” RV Industry Association (RVIA) states in a Facebook post.

Participation in experiential events like the American Century Championship is a key component of Go RVing’s strategy to engage new and existing audiences. The organization focuses on showcasing the accessibility, flexibility, and appeal of RV travel in diverse settings.

According to its website, Go RVing is the consumer-facing marketing initiative of the RV industry, dedicated to promoting RVing through digital content, and storytelling.

The campaign leverages real RVers to share their stories and insights, offering authentic perspectives that reflect the breadth of the RVing community. These narratives serve to inform and inspire prospective travelers.

In addition to storytelling, Go RVing provides educational content for first-time RVers, including tips on budgeting, travel planning, and maintenance.

Go RVing also spotlights the diversity of RV uses—from family vacations and winter sports to food-focused road trips and digital nomadism. Its messaging underscores how RVing complements a wide range of interests and lifestyles.

Go RVing is a joint initiative between RVIA and the RV Dealers Association (RVDA), supported by a network of manufacturer members and dealer partners. The campaign relies on this industry-wide collaboration to expand outreach efforts and raise consumer awareness about the benefits and accessibility of RV travel.

Funding for the campaign is partially sourced from the purchase of RVIA seals, which are required on every RV produced by member manufacturers.

“A portion of all income generated from the purchase of RV Industry Association seals goes to support the Go RVing campaign. Every RV produced by a member manufacturer must display the association’s seal,” Go RVing indicates.
