Go RVing Launches Promotional Toolkit to Boost Participation in National Go RVing Day

The Go RVing campaign has released a promotional toolkit for the fifth annual National Go RVing Day, providing RV companies with marketing materials and planning resources ahead of the June 13 event.

Observed on the second Saturday of June each year, National Go RVing Day encourages RV consumers and industry stakeholders to celebrate RV travel by visiting outdoor destinations during the weekend.

The 2026 observance is also tied to RV-2-50, the RV industry initiative promoting travel connected to the celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

According to Go RVing, the alignment between National Go RVing Day and RV-2-50 is intended to increase participation and enthusiasm for RV travel while connecting promotional storytelling with travel activity across the industry.

The toolkit is designed to help RV companies promote the event across owned, earned, and social media channels. The materials are available for industry partners to use directly or customize for specific audiences.

The toolkit includes a suggested promotional timeline, National Go RVing Day logos, social media graphics, sample social media copy, sample article copy, and a sample media pitch.

New for 2026, the toolkit also contains a two-month “at-a-glance” content calendar intended to help companies integrate National Go RVing Day-related content into existing marketing schedules.

Go RVing stated that the materials can be used as provided or adapted for individual brand campaigns and audiences.

As part of the effort to increase industry participation, the Go RVing team also hosted a free 30-minute workshop titled “Turning Momentum into Media: How to Earn Press for Your Business Around National Go RVing Day.”

The workshop focused on helping RV businesses generate media attention connected to the event and broader RV travel initiatives.

National Go RVing Day was launched to promote RV travel and outdoor recreation through coordinated participation by RV manufacturers, dealers, campgrounds, suppliers, and consumers. The annual observance has become part of the industry’s broader marketing efforts to encourage RV travel during the summer season.
