Go RVing and All Gear Digital Launch “Detours Welcome” Campaign to Inspire Spontaneous RV Adventures

Go RVing has partnered with All Gear Digital to launch “Detours Welcome,” a new video and editorial series that celebrates the unplanned moments and adventures that define RV travel. 

The campaign, unveiled this fall, is designed to engage the “Adventurous Young Adults” audience through authentic storytelling and immersive media.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on October 21, the partnership brings together Go RVing’s mission to showcase the RV lifestyle with All Gear Digital’s network of outdoor-focused brands, including GearJunkie, Switchback Travel, The Inertia, Pack Hacker, Bikerumor, iRunFar, ExplorersWeb, and WildSnow. Together, the organizations aim to highlight how RVs offer flexibility, comfort, and freedom for spontaneous exploration.

In “Detours Welcome,” a diverse group of traveler creators embark on unscripted RV journeys, embracing the spirit of discovery along the way. Each story captures authentic moments such as pulling off to explore a hidden hiking trail, stumbling upon a roadside attraction, or joining a local festival they didn’t plan for.

The campaign underscores how RVing allows travelers to move beyond rigid itineraries and experience more meaningful connections with people and places along the road. The series’ creators document their adventures in real time, offering viewers a glimpse into the unfiltered beauty of life on the go.

One featured participant, Val LaForge, a skateboarder and surfer recognized for her barefoot style, shares her California road trip with friends as part of the campaign. Her story showcases how RVing can complement an active, outdoor lifestyle while enabling freedom and creativity in travel.

By leveraging All Gear Digital’s extensive media portfolio, Go RVing aims to reach consumers already engaged with outdoor and active-lifestyle content.

In addition to the creator-led series, the campaign includes a dedicated microsite hosted within All Gear Digital’s ecosystem. The site features custom articles, videos, and interactive content designed to extend engagement beyond social media.
