The RV Industry Association (RVIA) will host a one-hour webinar on Wednesday, July 30, to explore the findings of its latest report, RV Owner Demographic Profile of Intenders.
The session, titled “Getting to Know the Future RV Buyer,” will run from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET and is open to industry stakeholders seeking insights into evolving consumer demographics.
The report, developed in partnership with global research firm Ipsos, identifies 16.9 million Americans who express interest in purchasing an RV within the next five years.
“This report highlights the changing landscape of prospective RV buyers,” the association indicates in a News and Insights report of RVIA on July 11.
According to RVIA, the data reveals significant shifts in consumer behavior, with the next wave of buyers trending younger, more diverse, and highly digital in their research and purchasing habits.
Webinar participants will hear from Ipsos Vice President Tim Reimer, RVIA Vice President of Membership and Research Bill Baker, and Go RVing Senior Director of PR and Communications Monika Geraci.
Together, they will provide an overview of the report’s key findings and discuss implications for manufacturers, dealers, and marketers.
The report categorizes intenders into five distinct segments, each driven by different motivations, values, and expectations. From young families seeking adventure and connection to retired couples prioritizing convenience and flexibility, the data presents a broad and nuanced picture of the market.
Serving the RV industry for 50 years, RVIA stands as a national trade voice for the $140 billion RV sector.
