Forest River has launched its 2026 Great Getaway Sales Event, a nationwide retail marketing campaign aimed at increasing consumer awareness and supporting dealer partners during the summer selling season through coordinated advertising and dealership marketing resources.
The campaign began July 15 and will run through Oct. 15, combining national consumer advertising with dealer-focused marketing materials intended to attract customers and increase retail traffic to participating dealerships across the United States and Canada.
To support the initiative, Forest River has created dealer activation kits tailored for both U.S. and Canadian markets, with English-language and bilingual marketing materials available. The kits are designed to provide dealerships with merchandising and promotional resources that can be used throughout the campaign.
The activation kits include free-standing displays, in-store posters, unit pricing stickers, dealer email templates, social media graphics with ready-to-use copy and digital web banners. The materials are intended to help dealers promote the sales event and merchandise Forest River products at the retail level.
In addition to the dealership materials, Forest River is launching a nationwide geo-targeted digital advertising campaign across Google and Meta platforms. The advertising effort is designed to build consumer awareness of the promotion and direct prospective buyers to participating dealerships.
“Last year our Great Getaway promotion drove interested consumers into our dealers and helped drive sell-through,” said Tom Gruger, vice president of marketing for Forest River. “This year, we’re looking to build interest and drive even more traffic with digital and in-store materials designed specifically for our dealers in the United States and Canada.”
Forest River said the campaign highlights its lineup of recreational vehicles, which includes travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, toy haulers, truck campers and pop-up campers. The company said the range of products gives dealers options for serving both first-time RV buyers and customers looking to upgrade their vehicles.
The company has also launched a dedicated Great Getaway landing page to provide information about the promotion and participating dealers.
The 2026 Great Getaway Sales Event will continue through Oct. 15, providing dealers with coordinated in-store merchandising support and digital marketing resources throughout the three-month campaign.
