Forest River Bus & Van, a division of Forest River, has announced a series of leadership changes designed to strengthen operations and improve customer support across North America.
The company said the moves align with its long-term growth strategy and commitment to service excellence.
According to a press release, Douglas Wright has been named President of Forest River’s Bus, Van, and Marine divisions.
Wright brings more than 30 years of automotive industry experience and is recognized for his operational expertise and focus on customer satisfaction.
“This company was built by people who care deeply about what they do—and who they do it for,” Wright said.
“Our responsibility now is to carry that legacy forward while continuing to refine and elevate the customer journey,” Wright added.
Supporting Wright’s vision is Mike Terlep, who has been appointed director of sales for the bus division.
Terlep will oversee all sales activities in government, commercial, and dealer markets throughout North America.
“There’s no substitute for consistency and follow-through,” Terlep said.
“We’ve built a strong foundation, and I’m excited to help carry that forward, ensuring every agency, fleet, and dealer experiences the strength of our commitment,” Terlep added.
In addition to the top-level appointments, Forest River has created two new roles to sharpen its customer and dealer support. Ryan Lamb has been named director of customer experience, tasked with enhancing service quality from initial orders to long-term maintenance.
Lamb, who has nearly 20 years of experience in commercial vehicle manufacturing, is expected to help streamline processes and ensure clear, timely communication at every customer touchpoint.
On the dealership side, Matt Steele has been named director of dealer experience. Steele will focus on helping Forest River’s network of dealers operate efficiently and deliver higher levels of service to end customers.
Steele’s background in product development and dealer operations will be used to support dealer profitability and long-term partnerships, according to the company.
Wright said the company’s approach to service extends beyond vehicles to delivering mobility and independence for communities nationwide. “Our work isn’t only about vehicles—it’s about independence, opportunity, and everyday life. We are transporting what matters,” he said.
