Unhitched North Pensacola to Open in October with Discounted Launch Rates for RV Travelers

Unhitched North Pensacola, a new RV park in Florida’s Panhandle, is now accepting reservations for stays beginning October 1.

Located in the Cantonment area near major highways and a short drive from downtown Pensacola, the park offers convenience for travelers seeking a mix of access and natural surroundings.

The company announced special inaugural rates to mark the park’s opening, with nightly stays priced at $39 plus tax — a significant discount from the standard $66 rate.

Guests must book by September 1, and use the promo code “NEWPARK” to secure the limited-time offer.

“We are incredibly excited that our first brand new construction park is in our hometown. We love the Pensacola area, and we know our guests will too,” said Robert Preston, co-founder of Unhitched RV.

“Our goal is to create a safe, clean, and friendly environment that fosters connection and community for all our guests. We look forward to welcoming RVers to the park and showcasing the beauty and convenience of the Northwest Florida Panhandle,” Preston added.

Upon opening, Unhitched North Pensacola will feature 88 pull-through and back-in RV sites, each equipped with electricity, water, and sewer hookups.

The park is designed to accommodate a range of RVs, including the largest rigs.

Guests traveling with pets will have access to a dedicated dog park, while select RV sites include EV charging stations. The park is positioned to serve both short-term visitors and long-term guests.

While the RV sites and essential services will be available in October, additional amenities are scheduled for completion in spring 2026.

Planned features include a welcome center, resort-style pool and sundeck, pickleball court, and a modern laundry and bath house.

Unhitched North Pensacola aims to attract travelers seeking a quiet retreat that remains close to urban attractions. The location provides easy access to downtown Pensacola, as well as nearby communities like Pace and Milton.

Nearby attractions include historic landmarks, the Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron, and the region’s renowned white-sand beaches.

The park’s proximity to the Gulf Coast highway network also makes it a practical stop for RVers passing through the Southeast.
