Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages in Florida has been recognized as the 2025 Park Innovator of the Year – Small Park Category by OHI Awards of Excellence.
The award, announced during the Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo, highlights the resort’s transformation from a traditional RV campground into a boutique-style glamping destination under Blue Water Development Corporation.
Sugarloaf Key RV Resort & Cottages occupies seven acres surrounding a saltwater lake and offers elevated waterfront cottages, premium RV sites, and native landscaping that supports local wildlife.
Since its acquisition by Blue Water Development Corporation in 2024, the property has emphasized sustainable design and immersive nature experiences.
