Seven Sisters Campground Balances Old Florida Charm with Updated Amenities

Seven Sisters Campground in Homosassa, Florida, continues to position itself as a destination that blends Old Florida charm with modern conveniences. 

Located off U.S. 98 and within driving distance of Tampa and St. Petersburg, the property offers a mix of natural immersion and access to nearby amenities.

Studio and one-bedroom cabins are available, as well as larger rentals such as the two-bedroom “River Rat Flat,” the “Cozy Cottage,” and the three-bedroom “Seven Sisters Hideaway.” 

Each cabin is equipped with kitchens, bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and outdoor gathering areas, catering to both short-term visitors and larger groups.

On-site amenities include Wi-Fi access throughout the property, a floating dock, a boat ramp, covered slips, a laundry room, and kayak and paddleboard rentals. 

The campground operates a fleet of 40 rental boats, enabling guests to explore Seven Sisters Springs, Blue Springs Lagoon, Baird Creek, and The Crack. Free parking is provided for those who rent watercraft directly from the property.

Guests can also participate in activities beyond paddling, such as fishing, snorkeling, and scalloping along the riverfront. The surrounding region offers access to attractions like Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, Cabot Citrus Farms, Monkey Island, and NJoy Distillery. The Homosassa area is recognized for its manatee population, birdwatching, and natural springs.
