Saturday Schedule at Florida RV SuperShow Focuses on Technical Troubleshooting and Long-Term RV Maintenance

The 2026 Florida RV SuperShow enters its high-traffic Saturday session on January 17 at the Florida State Fairgrounds with a heavy emphasis on owner education and technical troubleshooting.

Produced by the Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA), the fourth day of the event prioritizes operational safety and long-term maintenance for the modern RVer.

The schedule features a strategic mix of hands-on technical seminars and logistical planning sessions designed to address the increasing complexity of late-model recreational vehicles.

Steven Raye, a fire department driving instructor and RVTI Master certified technician, will open the morning programming with a focus on the role of the “co-pilot” in safe transit.

The seminar highlights that the right-seat passenger is essential for navigating driver distraction laws while serving as a critical second set of eyes on the road.

“The co-pilot can not only make the trip safer by performing these tasks but can also make the trip much more enjoyable,” the event’s details indicate.

Transitioning from safety to maintenance, a midday seminar will focus on RV roof care, teaching owners to identify specific materials and create personalized maintenance schedules.

The session aims to demystify insurance claims for leaks, providing attendees with real-world experiences regarding emergency patch-ups and long-term structural integrity.

Battery technology remains a centerpiece of the 2026 show, with Battle Born’s Technology leading a deep dive into LiFePO4 proprietary battery management systems.

The presentation focuses on the operational advantages of cylindrical cells, which offer 100% depth of discharge and a lifespan of 3,000 to 5,000 cycles.

Complementing the power discussion, WFCO will host a technical workshop on 12V and 120V systems, noting that 90% of new RVs currently feature WFCO converters.

The WFCO team will also provide troubleshooting steps for the “heart and soul” of the RV, which manages critical components including slide-outs, water pumps, and lighting.

Beyond technical sessions, the FRVTA is highlighting regional tourism through guided RV tours of Alaska, Canada, and the Atlantic Provinces.

These sessions provide operational intelligence on road conditions, culture, and reservation management for both solo travelers and organized caravans.
