Registration Still Open for 2025 Florida & Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Convention in Orlando

With just weeks to go, registration remains open for the 2025 Florida & Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Convention & Expo, set to take place May 6–9 at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. The annual event brings together campground and RV park owners, operators, and outdoor hospitality professionals from across the region.

Attendees will have access to a range of optional pre-conference workshops, including a two-day Certified Pool Operator (CPO) course led by Terry Munoz and a technical training session presented by the RV Technical Institute (RVTI). Both sessions require separate registration and fees.

The main program begins May 7, featuring a Strategy & Research Mini Summit led by industry experts Sandy Ellingson and Scott Bahr. The agenda also includes a financial planning session by Mr. Land Trust and a general session on insurance solutions with Austin Gaines of Starke Agency.

Later that afternoon, Ben Wolf will deliver the opening keynote address, focusing on experiential hospitality and the importance of unique, shareable guest stays. The day concludes with a welcome reception and interactive trivia event hosted by Bobby Sorden of App My Community.

On May 8, a breakfast panel with Scott Bahr and Casey Cochran will examine regional RV park trends and forecasts. Later that morning, Will Bowen, author and speaker, will present a keynote on improving workplace culture by addressing the root causes of complaints.

FRVCA Chair Thomas Sparrow will be joined by Marc Dunbar and Rep. Richard Gentry (R-District 27) for the Chairman’s Lunch and legislative update. Breakout sessions throughout the day will explore topics including accessibility, acquisitions, accounting, park development, revenue management, and guest personalization.

The day concludes with a trade show preview and evening reception, followed by the conference’s signature Awards Dinner, auction, karaoke, and social gathering at Tobias Burgers & Brew, located inside the host hotel.

Friday’s programming includes a breakfast session with Mike Boylan of “Mike’s Weather Page” and a disaster readiness panel. The trade show will remain open until 2 p.m., with more than 90 vendor booths on display.

The convention wraps up with Cracker Barrel-style group discussions and a final panel on business success strategies. Attendees staying until the end will be eligible for a prize drawing during the closing session.
