The Mid-Atlantic States Campground Conference & Trade Show returns to the Sunshine State for its 31st installment and kicks off today with loads of informative sessions and networking opportunities for attendees.
The event, to be held until March 2, takes place at the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando, Florida.
Apart from the trade show, the three-day conference will feature an array of seminars.
For today, Irene Jones of Marshall & Sterling insurance will be holding an educational session on Cybersecurity. There will also be sessions on attracting and retaining employees as well as using data to run your business, to be hosted by experienced professionals in the industry.
Lori Severson will also be present to share ways to attract new campers and re-engage guests through themed weekends and adult activities. She is the president of Severson & Associates and executive director of the Wisconsin Association of Campground Owners (WACO).
After some educational sessions today, a dinner and evening cracker barrel will round up the first day of the conference.
The tradeshow portion of the event begins on Tuesday. Exhibitors at the tradeshow include App My Community, campersAPP, Leavitt Recreation & Hospitality Insurance, Spot2Nite, and more.
The MAC Conference and Trade Show gives campground owners a chance to relax before the start of the season, noted a prior release.
