Lake Arbuckle Campground to Close for Upkeep

Lake Arbuckle Campground will be closed for maintenance and construction beginning next week, according to the Polk County (Florida) website.

The closure will be in effect from July 11 to August 14, 2022. All campsites will be closed during this time, and no camping will be allowed. However, the boat ramp will remain open to the public.

The campground, which is located in Frostproof, FL, offers RV and tent camping.

At the property, campers can take advantage of the boat launching site and dine with family and friends in one of the picnic shelters.

Parks and Recreation maintains five campgrounds throughout Polk County that feature primitive and powered campsites.
