General RV Center, a family-owned RV dealership, has expanded its footprint in Florida with the acquisition of Palm Beach RV. This strategic move brings the company’s total number of Supercenters in the Sunshine State to seven. The acquisition also aligns with General RV’s broader growth strategy, increasing its total number of dealerships to 21 nationwide.
Located in West Palm Beach on Florida’s Gold Coast, the newly acquired site will offer a comprehensive range of services, including RV sales, maintenance, and parts. The location has the capacity to display over 200 recreational vehicles, from travel trailers and fifth wheels to camper vans and luxury motorhomes. This variety caters to the diverse preferences of RV enthusiasts in the region, ensuring a wide selection of options for potential buyers.
According to a press release, General RV CEO Loren Baidas emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainable growth and enhancing the RV ownership experience. “The decisions we’re making for our company’s future are rooted in the commitment to ensure we are able to provide the premiere RV ownership experience for many years to come,” Baidas stated.
He highlighted that this expansion was part of a strategy aimed at reinforcing the company’s long-term vision of serving communities, customers, and employees.
The integration of Palm Beach RV into General RV’s network brings the dealership’s nearly 40 employees under the umbrella of the family-owned RV dealership.
Keith Waits, general manager of Palm Beach RV, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Joining forces with General RV allows us to harness their extensive capabilities and experience, ensuring our loyal customers continue to enjoy the highest standard of products and assistance.”
Florida now hosts more General RV Supercenters than any other state. Besides the new West Palm Beach location, the dealership operates in other key markets across Florida, including Ocala, Orange Park, Dover, Fort Myers, Winter Garden, and Fort Pierce.
General RV currently operates in eight states, including Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Utah, and North Carolina.
