The Florida and Alabama RV Park and Campground Association (FRVCA) will hold its 2026 Outdoor Hospitality Convention & Expo from April 28 through May 1 at Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, bringing together current and prospective campground and RV park operators for four days of industry education, market analysis and vendor exhibits.
The event is designed to deliver market intelligence, operational guidance and legislative updates for park owners and managers across both states. The association is also marking its 60th anniversary this year.
“We’re preparing for what will be our most outstanding and impactful conference yet,” Bobby Cornwell, executive director and CEO of the association, said in a press release.
The opening session will feature a state of the industry report led by Scott Bahr of Cairn Consulting Group and Casey Cochran of Campspot, examining how Florida and Alabama compare with national campground occupancy levels and other trends.
The association will also host a legislative report and government affairs panel.
Scheduled education sessions cover operations, finance, technology and legal compliance. Topics include future-focused RV park design, preparing a park for sale or refinancing, and financial and tax planning for outdoor hospitality businesses.
Multiple sessions focus on artificial intelligence, dynamic pricing and technology adoption for park operators.
Legal and regulatory issues will be addressed in an attorney-led panel covering guest disputes, evictions, service animals, abandoned units and Americans with Disabilities Act regulations, with participation from park operators and a representative from the Florida Department of Health.
Additional sessions will examine online travel agency distribution, branding and technology upgrades, electrical infrastructure challenges and operational efficiency strategies.
Presenters include consultants, technology providers and park ownership groups, including Unhitched RV, which the program says operates 21 parks across six Southeastern states.
The event will also include networking and cracker barrel sessions, a trade show with about 100 vendors, and the association’s annual awards presentation.
Pre-convention activities include an offsite social dining event at Fogo de Chao.
The convention venue, Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel, is located near the Orange County Convention Center and about 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport, according to the event description.
