With fewer than three weeks remaining before the 2025 Florida & Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Convention & Expo, organizers are preparing for one of the event’s most anticipated highlights: the Live & Silent Auction Fundraiser.
Scheduled to take place at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, the auction aims to generate support for education programs, legal resources, and advocacy work that serve the outdoor hospitality sector.
The auction, a part of the annual convention, is open to campground owners, RV park operators, vendors, and supporters of the industry.
According to a press release, organizers are currently seeking donations to bolster the range of items available, emphasizing that contributions of all sizes and types play a meaningful role in supporting the event’s mission.
“These auctions aren’t just for entertainment—they’re essential,” the event’s organizers stated. Proceeds will go toward initiatives that directly benefit campgrounds and RV parks, including training resources.
Popular donations in past years have included gift certificates, weekend getaways, food baskets, memorabilia, and professional services.
Donated items will be available for bid during both the live and silent auction segments. Attendees will have the opportunity to place bids in person, creating an engaging fundraising experience that blends industry networking with community support.
Organizers stress that every contribution helps, whether it’s a small handcrafted item or a high-value vacation package. “Whether it’s small and simple or one-of-a-kind, your contribution will help us raise money for important causes—while adding to the fun of the convention,” they noted.
