2025 Campground Conference to Kick Off with Networking Excursions at Orlando Attractions

The 2025 Campground Conference & Trade Show, scheduled for March 3-5 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, will feature pre-conference excursions to popular local attractions, offering attendees an opportunity to network and relax before the event.

The conference, organized by the New Jersey Campground Owners Association (NJCOA), combines business networking, educational sessions, and entertainment for campground owners, suppliers, and outdoor hospitality professionals.

Participants can take guided tours of the SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and the Orlando Eye, a 400-foot observation wheel that provides sweeping views of the area.

Joann DelVescio, the conference planner, described the excursions as a way for attendees to connect ahead of the main event.

“We’re going to spend Sunday afternoon ahead of The Campground Conference having a little fun before we get serious about educating ourselves and doing business at the trade show,” DelVescio said.

Three excursion options are available, allowing participants to visit either the aquarium, the Orlando Eye, or both attractions. Pre-registration is required, with fees ranging from $15 to $35 per person.

According to DelVescio, the informal setting will help new attendees establish connections and provide a chance for returning participants to reconnect with colleagues.

Registration for excursions, conference attendance, and vendor booths is available online at www.campgroundconference.com

Lodging and conference events will be hosted at the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area, which offers convenient access to local attractions.

Early bird registration discounts are available through February 21.

Previously known as the Mid-Atlantic Campground Conference & Trade Show, the event was rebranded as The Campground Conference to reflect its expanded scope.

In 2024, the conference welcomed attendees from 11 states and Puerto Rico, including representatives from Kentucky, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Organizers hope to build on that success by attracting a diverse range of participants from across the country.

DelVescio advised attendees to secure lodging and registration early, noting that rooms within the conference block are quickly filling up. With the event scheduled just before the spring camping season, organizers anticipate a strong turnout from campground operators preparing for their busiest time of the year.

The conference will also feature a blend of educational workshops, industry panels, and social events designed to provide both strategic insights and practical tools.

DelVescio emphasized that while the event schedule is packed, maintaining a balance of networking and entertainment is key to its success.

One of the conference highlights is an interactive trivia night hosted by Bobby Sorden of Suppliers Spot, giving exhibitors and attendees a chance to engage in a relaxed atmosphere. A formal dinner and auction will provide another opportunity to network and raise funds for industry initiatives.

Educational sessions will address crucial aspects of campground management, including financial strategies and operational improvements.

For example, the session titled “Money in Your Pocket: How Every Staff Member Can Boost Your Bottom Line” will offer guidance on empowering staff to contribute to profitability.

The conference will also tackle emerging industry trends in a session called “The Changing Landscape of Camping and Outdoor Hospitality.” To know more about the complete event’s program, visit their website here.
