With the success of this year’s conference setting the bar for a bigger event next year, the Florida and Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo will return to Daytona Beach in 2023, but at a bigger location.
For the Florida and Alabama RV and Campground Association, it’s never too early to plan for next year. Early today, the trade association announced that the conference will be held at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort.
While plans are yet to be disclosed for the 2023 event, the group seemed ecstatic to make the announcement.
“We are excited to announce that due to popular demand and the overwhelming positive feedback we received at the 2022 conference, we will be returning to Daytona Beach in 2023 – at a much bigger property (as we have outgrown the Shores Resort),” the association announced in a member email.
In a press release published a few weeks ago, Bobby Cornwell, the president and CEO of the association, shared that the 2022 conference saw a record attendance of 355 attendees.
For three days, participants were treated with wonderful views and a plethora of networking and great educational sessions from industry experts during group discussions, cracker barrels, and industry panels.
Educational sessions at the recent event covered topics like preparing campgrounds for electric vehicles; park policies, rules, and waivers; developing a business plan, and more.
From May 8 through 11 next year, association members will flock to the Hilton to form connections, learn, and relax.
The oceanfront property has over 60,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting space overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, enough to accommodate a bigger group for the Supplier Expo and all other events and functions during the conference.
Attendees can look forward to good views, good food, and only the best buys because the hotel is also conveniently located next to the Daytona Beach Pier, which is a shopping and eating district. Nearby is the Daytona Lagoon Waterpark for extra fun.
Full details of the four-day event will be revealed by the association in the coming months. Registration information will also follow.
