ESCAPE Homes has reintroduced its ESCAPE Classic tiny home design, a decade after it “captivated consumers and press worldwide.” The improved version, known as the ESCAPE Classic King, is now available in a limited quantity for purchase and delivery across the U.S., as well as for vacations at Canoe Bay ESCAPE Village in Chetek, Wisconsin.
According to a press release, the original ESCAPE Classic, unveiled by founder Dan Dobrowolski, was inspired by the Prairie-style cottages at Canoe Bay, many of which were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright protege John Rattenbury.
Dobrowolski recalled the response to the initial launch, with more than 25,000 inquiries received within the first 48 hours. The 400-square-foot cabin sold out at Canoe Bay. “Guests raved about the clean lines and open floor plans and the tiny home movement was just beginning to take shape, so ESCAPE Classic was born,” Dobrowolski explained.
Now, ESCAPE Homes is returning to its roots with the ESCAPE Classic King, a 480-square-foot model that showcases several enhancements. The new design includes a king-sized bedroom suite, a larger kitchen with increased storage, a redesigned screened porch with glass French doors, and all-electric capabilities.
Priced at under $120,000, the ESCAPE Classic King offers an option for those interested in a full-time residence, vacation home, or rental property. The model’s launch coincides with the 10th anniversary of ESCAPE Homes and the 30th anniversary of Canoe Bay.
“Ten years later, customers still ask about ESCAPE Classic. We’re thrilled to re-introduce it as a full-time residence, vacation home, vacation rental property & more,” Dobrowolski said.
According to the press release, customers have the opportunity to either stay in the inaugural unit at Canoe Bay ESCAPE Village or purchase it for personal use. Additionally, owners can opt to rent out the unit through Canoe Bay’s existing rental program.
In the coming weeks, ESCAPE Homes plans to introduce an ESCAPE Classic King XL, which will be five feet longer and feature even more windows.
