Connected TV (CTV) will reshape how RV dealers reach customers, and a session at the upcoming RV Dealers Convention/Expo will explore its growing role in driving measurable sales results.
Rich DeLancey, co-founder and chief innovation officer at Coast Technology, will lead the workshop “Beyond Branding: How Connected TV is Driving Lot Traffic for RV Dealers” on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
Part of the event’s digital marketing and business development center (BDC) education track, the session will highlight how CTV has evolved from a simple branding tool into a key driver of dealership traffic.
DeLancey’s presentation will give dealers a practical understanding of how to integrate CTV into their marketing mix to better reach today’s digital-first shoppers.
“Connected TV has grown from a branding tool to a powerful marketing tool, and dealers can get a better idea of how to make use of the system,” according to the session overview.
Attendees will learn the distinctions between CTV and traditional advertising, as well as why it has become essential for targeting today’s online consumers. DeLancey’s insights will center on helping dealerships allocate budgets effectively while maximizing visibility and customer engagement.
The session will also cover key performance metrics that help measure the effectiveness of CTV campaigns. Dealers will gain strategies to track real-world outcomes, including lot visits and lead conversions, ensuring marketing dollars are tied directly to sales performance.
“Dealers can get a better idea of how to make use of the system,” the session notes, emphasizing that CTV’s value lies in measurable outcomes rather than broad impressions.
In addition, the workshop aims to provide guidance on building cost-effective CTV strategies without requiring a large internal media team. The approach is designed to help small- and mid-sized dealerships compete with larger operations through smarter use of digital tools.
This session is part of the broader education lineup at the 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo, where dealership professionals from across North America gather to share insights and best practices.
The convention’s educational offerings cover a range of dealership operations, from fixed operations to sales management and customer experience.
Held Nov. 10–14, at Paris Las Vegas, the event is jointly sponsored by the RV Dealers Association (RVDA) of the United States, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.
The expo portion of the event will also feature exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services for the RV retail sector.
The convention provides an opportunity for dealership teams to connect directly with industry peers, thought leaders, and potential partners. It serves as a hub for professional development, offering tools and strategies aimed at improving dealership performance in a competitive marketplace.
