Royal Gorge Bridge & Park offers half-price general admission season passes for Colorado residents from April 1 to 30.
The passes are valid for one year after purchase, with unlimited access. In this promotion, the 2022 adult pass, usually $72, will cost $36 for Colorado residents. A child pass, which is normally $60, will cost $30, and a Family pass for four people, usually $220, will be $110.
Passes can be purchased online or at royalgorgebridge.com. To purchase the discounted passes, Colorado residents must provide their valid Colorado address and Promo Code HFCOSP22.
The Royal Gorge Bridge also has a “bucket list” of attractions that cater to all types of adventure enthusiasts.
Cloudscraper Zipline by ZipRider is the highest zipline in America, stretching 2400 feet over the Royal Gorge. The zipline offers a hands-free adrenaline rush.
For the daring, Royal Rush Skycoaster “swings” passengers out and across the gorge, 1,200 feet above that of the Arkansas River.
The Royal Gorge Via Ferrata, a protected climbing route that is located along the walls of the Royal Gorge, is a guided experience perfect for those who are “never-done-it” guests to the skilled climber. These are all additional pay features with restrictions.
The general admission ticket or season pass permits guests to experience the Bridge, Plaza Theater, Children’s Playland, and Aerial Gondolas, weather permitting. The Visitor Center featuring a spacious deck, shops, and Cafe 1230 is included.
Other means of entertainment, such as daily performances from Nature’s Educators, are scheduled between Memorial Day to Labor Day in the summer. The park is open all year round and is a popular destination for those who want to enjoy an outdoor escape.
