The Overland Expo Mountain West, an event in the “world’s largest” overlanding series, is scheduled from August 23 to August 25 at the Ranch Events Complex in Loveland, Colorado. This three-day event will feature a lineup of over 300 session-hours of programs, 175+ diverse classes, demonstrations and activities.
Attendees can look forward to learning from more than 100 instructors and presenters, each bringing their expertise and experiences to the forefront. The event caters to both seasoned overlanders and newcomers alike, offering a platform for knowledge sharing, skill-building, and community engagement.
In addition to the education sessions, the event will showcase different exhibitors, showcasing the latest in overlanding gear and technology. According to its website, over 300 exhibitors will be present.
Another feature of the Overland Expo Mountain event is its variety of camping packages, designed to cater to different types of outdoor enthusiasts. The vehicle camping package, priced at $160, offers festival-style camping from August 22 to August 26, accommodating one vehicle and a small trailer. This package also includes access to general admission events, such as classes, demos, and films, as well as nightly happy hours. Additional passenger tickets can be purchased for $105.
Motorcycle enthusiasts can opt for a specialized camping package, available for $140. This package offers similar perks as the vehicle package but is tailored for motorcycle campers, with designated motorcycle campgrounds. Sidecars are also permitted, and like the vehicle package, access to general admission events is included.
According to a press release, the event provides a 20% discount on pass purchases for active military, veterans, and retirees, although the Overland Experience pass is excluded from this offer. The festival-style camping experience is set in a pine forest, offering essential amenities like potable water, porta-toilets, and geyser showers. However, RVs, travel trailers, and large motorhomes are not permitted on-site.
Quiet hours will be enforced from 10 pm to 6 am, with security and campground hosts available. Campers are also encouraged to arrive during staffed hours and to carry their credentials for re-entry throughout the event.
