Cinchio Rolls Out “Charge to Site” Payments Through Campspot to Simplify Guest Experience

Cinchio Solutions has expanded its integration with Campspot by introducing a new “charge to site” feature for campground and RV park operators.

The rollout allows guests to link purchases directly to their Campspot reservation.

The feature enables transactions without the need for cash or cards. Guests can provide their name at checkout to have purchases charged to their existing reservation, offering an additional layer of convenience during their stay.

Cinchio said the new option builds on its existing payment tools, which already include wristband charging. The company noted that operators can now choose between enabling “charge to site” payments or using the wristband integration, both of which connect with Campspot.

“Campgrounds and RV resorts are about relaxation and ease, and technology should support that experience,” Tom Bell, managing director at Cinchio Solutions, said in a press release.

“By enabling guests to leave their wallets behind while still enjoying full access to food, beverage, and retail purchases, we’re helping operators deliver a smoother and more enjoyable stay,” Bell added.

According to Cinchio, no additional setup or administrative work is required for operators to activate the “charge to site” functionality. The system links directly with Campspot reservations across POS and digital ordering channels.

Cinchio said the new functionality helps operators “increase ancillary revenue” by reducing friction at the point of purchase.

Operational simplicity is a key aspect of the rollout. By aligning with existing Campspot data, the company said campground staff can spend less time reconciling transactions and more time focused on guest services.

For guests, the option adds consistency to the purchasing process. Cinchio described the “charge to site” feature as secure and easy to use, with the goal of enhancing satisfaction throughout a property.

“With this latest innovation, Cinchio and Campspot continue their shared mission of helping campgrounds and RV resorts modernize operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences,” the press release indicates.
